Remote Work Management
In Business as an Art, we discuss the companies’ Digital Transformation daily for a few years. We are almost 30 people from different countries and working fully on remote since the end of 2016 when we had our internal an economical crisis 🙂 Really, a pretty interesting topic for us to see the mass behavior of the same issues that we already solved years ago.
As a result of our discussions, we prepared FREE guidelines “How to get know if your company is ready for Remote work. We believe it might be helpful. If you have any comments, let us know. We are open to any interesting point of view. The report highlights the strength and weaknesses of the possibility to manage the company’s people remotely.
The usual issues while managing people remotely in the home office.
Remote Work Management has specifics that you cannot manage in the same manner as in the office. Often you cannot express your opinion immediately, you cannot avoid employee’s character specifics, you cannot focus on micro-management. The company should have a set of controlling mechanisms that allow full control of work progress. The report highlights weak parts.
